Retirement Villages
We supervise and monitor compliance by the retirement village operator with its obligations under relevant legislation and the governing document.
We monitor the financial position of the village and act as an independent stakeholder for payments by residents to operators.
We provide a stakeholder facility to hold funds on behalf of intending residents, and to provide settlement services.
We hold a mortgage over village land in favour of the residents, and deal with the titles and mortgages as required from time to time (e.g. easements, consents, security sharing arrangements).
