Fisher Funds
Trustees Executors has been the Supervisor and Trustee for the Fisher Funds’ managed funds, KiwiSaver and wholesale schemes since 1998.
Over the years we have built a partnership with Fisher Funds and maintain a solid relationship with them, providing support through legislative changes, and launching of multiple schemes and funds, including their investments
into Private Equity and Debt.
Milford
Trustees Executors has had a relationship with Milford since the inception of its funds managementbusiness in 2007.
We are the supervisor for the Milford Investment Funds, the Milford KiwiSaver Plan, as well as trustee forthe Milford Wholesale Unit Trusts. We have also supported Milford with the launch of their investmentsinto Private Equity.
Trustees Executors and Milford have a sound working relationship, based on open and transparentcommunication and a mutual desire to work towards the best outcomes for investors.
Kernel Wealth
Kernel Wealth is now celebrating seven years in the industry and Trustees Executors has been involved asKernel’s supervisor almost since its inception as a licensed Managed Investment Scheme manager..
During that time the Kernel Wealth’s business has grown significantly, where they now manage morethan 50 funds across the Kernel Funds and Kernel KiwiSaver Plan schemes.
First Mortgage Trust
Trustees Executors has been associated with First Mortgage Managers Limited, the manager of the FirstMortgage Trust Group Investment Fund, for over three decades through its continued growth as one ofNew Zealand’s largest mortgage trusts and non-bank lenders.
Trustees Executors has worked closely with First Mortgage Managers, building a strong and enduring relationship while providing independent oversight and governance support across a changing regulatory and market environment.
During this time, Trustees Executors has supported them through key legislative and compliancedevelopments, ongoing supervision of the First Mortgage Trust Group Investment Fund, and the growthof its lending and investor base across New Zealand.
In 2024, Trustees Executors also worked alongside First Mortgage Managers on the launch of itsWholesale Fund, acting as Trustee for the new offering and supporting the manager through theestablishment of the fund structure as part of its broader growth and liquidity strategy.
Sharesies
Sharesies was founded in 2017 with the goal of making investing easy, accessible, and affordable for everyone.
Trustees Executors partnered with Sharesies at the time they were granted a Managed InvestmentScheme (MIS) licence to act as a MIS Manager in regard to the Sharesies KiwiSaver Scheme in 2022.
Trustees Executors is the supervisor for the Sharesies KiwiSaver Scheme and Sharesies Funds Scheme.Over the years we have built a solid relationship based on trust and a common ground of open andtransparent communication.
Mercer (NZ) Limited
We have had a relationship with Mercer (N.Z.) Limited (Mercer) since 2007 when they were appointed asthe manager for the default Mercer KiwiSaver Scheme, and subsequently appointed Trustees Executors as Supervisor of their KiwiSaver scheme.
Over the years we have strengthened our engagement and partnership with Mercer by becoming theSupervisor for the Mercer Super Trust and Mercer FlexiSaver schemes.
In 2021, we successfully transitioned the governance of Mercer Investment Trusts NZ wholesale schemefrom Mercer, as in-house trustee, to Trustees Executors.
We also have a tri-partite relationship with Mercer and the New Zealand Defence Force for thesupervision of the New Zealand Defence Force savings schemes.
Trustees Executors also acts as the Corporate Independent Trustee for two legacy staff superannuationschemes of Mercer and Marsh.
Consilium
Consilium and Trustees Executors have worked together since the conception and design of theinnovative KiwiWRAP KiwiSaver Scheme in 2020.
Trustees Executors supervises that original Consilium managed investment scheme and also theEvidential Investment Funds and Evidential KiwiSaver Scheme.
Consilium is a technologically sophisticated financial services company that provides a diverse range ofretail investment-related products and services, working alongside professional financial advisers to assistNew Zealanders to make better informed and supported decisions about their investments.
Trustees Executors enjoys an engaged and constructive appointment in respect of those aspects ofConsilium’s business activities that require a licensed supervisor.
New Zealand Local Government Funding Agency
As Security Trustee for the New Zealand Local Government Funding Agency (LGFA), TE has played anintegral role in supporting one of New Zealand’s most significant debt capital market issuers.
LGFA was established to provide local authorities with more efficient access to funding and today financesthe vast majority of local and regional council borrowing across New Zealand.
Throughout its growth, Trustees Executors has provided independent oversight of LGFA’s debtprogrammes, supporting a funding platform that spans domestic and international capital markets.
More recently, Trustees Executors has assisted a number of local water entities with their proposed accession as an issuer under the New Zealand Local Government Funding Agency (LGFA) borrowing programme, in accordance with the Local Water Done Well framework.
Auckland Council
Trustees Executors has been associated with Auckland Council since 2010, providing independent trusteeservices as both Debenture Trustee and Bond Trustee across its domestic and offshore borrowing programmes.
Trustees Executors also supported Auckland Council with the issue of New Zealand’s inaugural green bondin June 2018, raising $200 million.
Over the past 15 years, Trustees Executors has worked closely with Auckland Council to support itsfunding strategy, overseeing a broad range of secured debt issuances while ensuring compliance withtrust deed obligations and maintaining robust governance oversight.
As one of New Zealand’s largest local authorities and debt issuers, Auckland Council has continued toevolve its funding programme, including sustainable finance initiatives, offshore bond issuances andgreen financing transactions.
Throughout this period, Trustees Executors has remained a trusted partner, supporting the Council’s long-term funding objectives while providing independent oversight through an increasingly complex regulatory and financial environment.
Genesis Energy
Since 2013, Trustees Executors has acted as trustee for Genesis Energy Limited’s retail bondprogrammes, providing independent oversight and governance support.
As one of New Zealand’s leading integrated energy companies, Genesis has continued to evolve itsfunding programme while investing in renewable generation, battery storage and other low-Carbon initiatives.
Throughout this journey, Trustees Executors has supported Genesis by safeguarding bondholder interestsand providing trusted trustee services as the company advances its long-term energy transition strategy.
