Rob has been with Trustees Executors since 2006 when he was appointed as Acting CFO. Rob was appointed Executive Director in December 2012 and was appointed to the Board in May 2013. Prior to joining Trustees Executors he held senior positions in various large New Zealand Corporate companies. Rob is responsible for the strategic, operational and financial management of the Company.

John has over 30 years’ experience in the financial services sector practicing predominantly in the pre & post retirement investment space. John has established & developed his own professional services business group in the UK – a boutique investment house, a chartered accountancy practice, an independent trustee company, a business consulting firm & a property company all of which continue successfully to this day. John accepted a new challenge in the south pacific & more recently has enjoyed successful positions with Kiwibank & Gareth Morgan Investments. John brings with him a wealth of truly international experience.

Mel Hewitson
Head of Governance & Investor Oversight. CMInstD, MA, BSocSci

Mel has a long held passion for good governance and protecting investor interests. Mel joined TEL as Head of Governance & Investor Oversight in June 2015 from the Financial Markets Authority where she held leadership roles implementing the new regulation of financial advisers and licensing market participants under the Financial Markets Conduct Act. These included crowd funders, peer to peer lenders, derivatives issuers, discretionary investment management service providers and managed investment scheme managers.

Mel also has over 20 years’ experience in the institutional investment and banking sectors where she has held leadership roles, including in risk and compliance. She is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Directors and has degrees in Business (Masters), Economics and Japanese.

Stuart McLaren
BCom, ACA, Financial Controller

Stuart has over 20 years business management and accounting experience in the service, wholesale and retail industries. He has a further 12 years involvement in product and service administration and development across various industry sectors. Stuart joined Trustees Executors in 2009 and leads the both the corporate finance and trust administration & accounting teams as well as supporting the business units in various financial matters, projects and advisory services.

Elaine Mosley
BA, LLB, PCM, Company Secretary

Elaine is a solicitor with over 20 years of corporate legal and governance experience in the financial services and IT industries. She joined Trustees Executors in 2011 and is responsible for the company’s secretariat functions, risk and compliance as well as legal services.
