Rt Hon Jim Bolger, ONZ, Chairman
Rt Hon Jim Bolger was the Prime Minister of New Zealand from 1990 - 1997. During his time as Prime Minister, he was known for transforming the New Zealand economy from having the lowest growth rate among the 29 OECD nations, to having one of the highest.
He then served as New Zealand's ambassador to the United States from 1998 until 2002. Well respected nationally and internationally, he was made a member of the Order of New Zealand in 1997, which is New Zealand's highest honour.
A member of the Trustees Executors Board since 2005, he was appointed Chairman in October 2006. He is also Chairman of a number of other Boards including the Gas Industry Company, the International Advisory Board of the World Agricultural Forum, and the NZ/US Council. In addition to these roles, he is also Chancellor of the University of Waikato.
